Grand Prix in Geneva, Switzerland is the third leg of FIDE World Chess Grand Prix series 2017. Two winners of the series which consists of 4 tournaments (Sharjah, Moscow, Geneva, Palma de Mallorca) will qualify for the 2018 Candidates Tournament. Prize money and GP points are shared in case of a tie.
After Radjabov's triumph in Geneva there are 5 runners for the two top spots: Mamedyarov, Grischuk (both do not participate in the 4th leg of the series), Radjabov, Ding Liren and Vachier-Lagrave. Who will qualify for the candidates' tournament? It will be decided in the Palma de Mallorca.
