Grand Prix in UAE is the first leg of FIDE World Chess Grand Prix series 2017. Two winners of the series which consists of 4 tournaments (Sharjah, Moscow, Geneva, Palma de Mallorca) will qualify for the 2018 Candidates Tournament. Prize money and GP points are shared in case of a tie.
